at the base of the mountain, the beings set up to rest for the journey before them up the base of the mountain. they made beds out flowers and leaves that they picked from the trees. they lit a fire and danced around it for a while they played the music and i sang out into the world. when i had finished my song they began to play us a lullaby for us to go to sleep.

when we woke up, it was still night. we walked up the path to the mouth of the cave. we entered one by one into the darkness.

this second half of this track is dedicated to eryn presli whitfield. a great friend who i lost too soon. i love you.
