the rain came down as i found shelter in a cave, i knew i had to keep moving if i wanted to keep on the trail of the mischievous beings. i moved as fast as i could in the direction i last heard them. the clouds block out a lot of the sun but in the distance i can see the moon start to rise above the trees. my grandfather always told me that it was a sign of good luck when the moon came out to play with the sun. i followed the moon into a clearing in the woods and the rain stopped, the clouds cleared and the sun lit up the meadow. the flowers slowly began to bloom from the ground and trees all around me. i laid down, i could hear them singing from the trees.
