as the sun finally set the beings motioned for me to follow them. we moved through the woods, down paths that were long worn down by time. we walked until we reached a small clearing that they called their home. the houses were covered in flowers and many of them were waiting for me. they lived on a hillside, right in the middle of the forest. all the paths and trails of the forest lead right to them, if you were patient enough to walk all of them. they had paint on their faces and had flowers in their hair that glowed in the twilight of night. there they gathered around and prepared to greet me with a song.
